Wauseon City crews will be conducting branch and limb pickup service along city streets beginning the first full week in April.

There will be two pickups per month in the north and south sections. The crews will pick up in the north section on the 1st and 3rd full weeks and in the south on the 2nd and 4th weeks. The north and south sections are divided by the Conrail railroad tracks.

Branches and limbs must be cut no longer than six feet in length and three inches in diameter. Branches and limbs must be stacked in a straight pile with the butt ends in one direction. Brush will not be picked up in alleys.

Chunk wood will be picked up if piled at the curb and not heavier than 75 pounds. If a contractor is trimming or cutting trees, he will be responsible for his cuttings.

There will be no brush and limb pickup from October 1 through December 31 during leaf pickup.

Please note, only branches and limbs will be picked up. If you cut down an entire tree, you are responsible for removing the whole tree. Brush pickup is for the occasional limb that falls from a tree and general maintenance, not for an entire tree pickup. Also, if a contractor is trimming or cutting your tree, he is responsible for the removal of the tree.
