Our Parks

Homecoming Park
Homecoming Park opened on June 11, 1980. The park offers a sledding hill, walking path, wooded walking path, public restrooms, 2 playgrounds, gazebo, pickleball courts, and 2 open air pavilions that are available for use on a first come, first serve basis.

The Homecoming Shelter House is an indoor/outdoor pavilion that offers the use of a full kitchen, private restrooms and heating/air conditioning. The shelter is available for rent from April 1 to Dec 31. 

Rotary Park & Goodwin Preserve
Rotary Park opened on July 9, 1971. The park offers a fishing pond, playground, and The Goodwin Preserve. 

The Rotary Shelter House offers the use of a full kitchen, private restrooms, and heating/air conditioning. The shelter is available for rent year round. 

The Goodwin Preserve was started in 2004 and includes a wooded area with grills, spots to picnic and a walking trail.

Reighard Park
Reighard Park opened on April 3, 1940 and is the home of Imagination Kingdom, the City Pool, three shelter houses, restroom facilities, tennis courts, and a disc golf course - donated by Worthington Steel.

The shelter houses in Reighard Park do not have on-location restrooms, heating or air conditioning and are available for rent from April 1 to October 31.  

The Potawatomi Lodge is located right next to Imagination Kingdom. The lodge offers the use of a refrigerator, stove and a number of 10' picnic tables.
The Miami Lodge is located across from the Wauseon High School - near the tennis courts. The lodge offers the use of a refrigerator and a number of 10' picnic tables.
The Shawnee Lodge is located on the north side of the park -  closest to Shoop Ave. The lodge offers the use of a number of 10' picnic tables and electricity.

Wabash Park
Wabash Park became a City park November 20, 1951. The park has a playground, a half basketball court and skate ramps/equipment.

Biddle Park
Biddle Park opened in May 2009. The park consists of 8 baseball/softball fields, 3 tee-ball fields, 3 batting cages, 3 basketball courts, 3 sand volleyball courts, 1 football field and 9 soccer fields. Additionally, the northern end of the park consists of 4 youth baseball/softball fields.

Biddle Park has 3 open air pavilions that are available for use on a first come, first serve basis. The park offers 4 restroom facilities - one at each concession stand - and are open during normal park hours. The park is open from April 1 to October 31 - weather permitting.

South Park
South Park is the oldest of the City parks, opening on July 15, 1865. The park has playground equipment, a gazebo, and 2 basketball courts.

North Park/Memorial Park
North/Memorial Park opened on June 19, 1924. The park has a playground, a half basketball court and a war memorial statue.

Depot Park
Depot Park opened on July 15, 1970. The park has a historical train depot, a preserved train caboose, and a wooden play train. 

Cannonball Trail
Cannonball Trail is a blacktopped walking path that stretches 2 miles across the City from East to West. The trail provides a scenic and tranquil setting for walking, running, biking, and rollerblading.
