2020 Brush Pick Up
Friday, April 24, 2020

The crews will pick up in the north section on the 1st and 3rd weeks and in the south on the 2nd and 4th weeks.  The north and south sections are divided by the Norfolk & Western railroad tracks.

  • Branches and limbs must be cut no longer than six feet in length and three inches in diameter.
  • Branches and limbs must be stacked in a straight pile with the butt ends in one direction.
  • Brush will not be picked up in alleys.
  • Chunk wood will be picked up if piled at the curb and not heavier than 75 pounds.

**Please note, only branches and limbs will be picked up.  If you cut down an entire tree, you are responsible for removal of this wood.  If a contractor is trimming or cutting trees it is the contractor's responsibility for the clean up and removal of the cuttings.

If you have leaves left over from last fall, you can bring them to the grass pit located at the Public Works Department’s entrance off of Linfoot St.  There is no leaf pickup during brush pickup season.  When leaf pickup begins in the fall, there will be no brush pickup.

The street sweeper will be sweeping the streets on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

If you have any questions, please call the Public Works Department at 419-335-8376.
